Lift Up & Transform Your Teams
From our very beginning, we have considered our mission to make our clients better as a result of our work with them. We work to bring alignment of individual goals, team goals, and business goals – the sweet spot where motivation is automatic not engineered. We work as bridge builders to reinforce relationships that ease work between units. Whether the client is a knowledge worker or a whole corporation...
We Work to Bring Them to Another Level of Achievement
Results for Executives
The highest business perspective should influence even the smallest decision by staff at the delivery end of the product or service cycle. Alignment strengthens an organization's ability to deliver on the mission. Wherever Pelerei serves within the organization, the work is designed to reinforce or bring alignment to the highest business objectives. When working with the executive directly, it is easily done. When working within the organization – with a unit or team or an individual – Pelerei demands clarity about the organization's larger mission and goals first and brings these into the design and implementation of any project. This is the only way to assure that executives will get results. Our objective is to help the executive and organization become poised for the next opportunity.
Success for Human Resources
The Human Resources function deals with some of the most challenging areas within any organization – staff development, attrition, competency definition, learning options, career ladders, evaluation, and more. Working within an organization in one area can have unanticipated consequences in another – especially for human resources. Pelerei has done extensive work in HR functional areas and considers these implications as it designs and does its work.
Managing for Managers
Are leaders more important than managers? Much of the hype these days says it is. Pelerei sees it differently. Pelerei sees management as a seamless garment from leadership to supervision and everything in between. For example, team building is all about leadership. Staff development and feedback is all about watching details and matching skills to business objectives and managing to the future. The emphasis of leadership and management may change over time or even seasons, but all 'managerial' functions are essential for making things happen.
Managerial needs are real and usually immediate. The impact from the manager may be smaller than the organization's, but it is likely to achieve results more quickly. We work where the effect will be the greatest, and if it means working with managers and their units or teams, then that is where Pelerei will work.
Knowledge for Knowledge Workers
Today, there is great emphasis on the knowledge that an employee brings to the task at hand. Years ago, a person could keep 80% of the knowledge to do their job in their heads. Our work has become so much more complex that today, a person can keep only about 8% of the knowledge needed. Knowledge sharing and continuous learning are now essential. Pelerei understands the needs of knowledge workers - especially as it relates to the increased speed and breadth of knowledge access. Overcoming information overload is as important as the knowledge itself. Too much of a good thing can lead to confusion rather than productivity. Pelerei's focus is on improving productivity through a natural flow of fresh knowledge. When people can manage the flow, rather than be overwhelmed, productivity goes up.

"I always thought of boundaries as confining and limiting. After your talk, I could see boundaries as enabling, as a tool to use to decide for myself where I will invest my energy. I saw them as being applicable to my goals, and it was liberating!"
