About Pelerei
The Pelerei Story
Pelerei was created to serve client needs and to discover if working with staff, associates, and the client all as partners could make a difference. To discover if working as if every person had something valuable to bring to the business need would bring more in the end. To discover if opening the 'black box' of process technique would leave the client truly more capable.
Well, that was more than 23 years and 400 projects ago. Pelerei is still creating better working environments, providing knowledge and skills to clients, building on the resources at hand to help clients draw more deeply from their core, but above all, to help them turn their visions into reality.
Pelerei is pronounced pel'-er-eye. For the truly curious, Pelerei comes from two root words that mean to raise people.
How We Work With Our Clients
There is only one reason to work with a client – because there is a need. So, our first order of business is to clarify the business need. Working from this base, Pelerei prefers to work with client teams to jointly address needs. If knowledge or skills are required, they are shared readily. Even processes are introduced with full explanation of why and how they work in meeting the business need. Our objective is to work together so that after we leave, you, our client, are able to "help yourself" the next time.
Our Values
Only people make things happen. This belief translates to listening to each person with respect. From this our clients gain the advantage of more creative solutions – ones that produce sustainable results.
Constant learning through which we bring the latest thinking to our clients.
Responsiveness to need so that our efforts are directed at the client's business need, not Pelerei's.
Excellence with honesty for a solution that is high quality and also the right one for the business need.
Timeliness of product to assure that delivery happens in the time frame of the need. (A great product delivered after it is needed is no product at all.)
Building on what works while seeking the creative way to save resources. It means that we always begin with what is at hand and available even if we choose to use it in a new way.

Testimonials
Attention is at a premium, getting people to focus has become difficult. Madelyn's story telling leaves you with a lasting learning. Every time, with flair and the right balance between bringing the story to life, business relevance, and conciseness."
Roberto Evaristo, Manager Knowledge Management Program Office, 3M
"I always thought of boundaries as confining and limiting. After your talk, I could see boundaries as enabling, as a tool to use to decide for myself where I will invest my energy. I saw them as being applicable to my goals, and it was liberating!"
Kelly Botsford, Senior HR Business Leader
"'The Power of Storytelling' is still getting rave reviews! I have had several employees stop by my office to tell me how much they enjoyed it and to discuss the ideas you put forth."
Pamela S. Mitchell, Director, Defense Travel Management Office 2004
"Madelyn, I am always learning and gaining inspiration from you. Your Riding the Current workshop was my latest experience of spending time with you - and then immediately implementing all that I learned, to great effect!"
Thaler Pekar
